We recently purchased a dl320 g4 and it is not linux friendly. I creted the software raid (after enabling it in the bios) and when I boot off the latest sarge version -31r2, it does not see my NIC. According to hp documentation my NIC is an Intel NC3241I and its not listed. I went on Intel's site and turned up nothing. I tried running linux26 and expert26, neither of which helped. If anyone has been able to resolve this or has an idea, I'm all ears. Thanks as always in advance.
Have you tried booting from a knoppix cd ? Does the card get recognized?
I suggest you use the Debian etch installer, or a nightly build, those NIC's are newer and probably not yet in the 2.6.8 kernel of Debian sarge. (etch uses 2.6.15)
