Confusion with hpasm install
« on: May 10, 2006, 12:32:40 am »

I got HPasm-rpm2deb-sarge.sh from the downloads section of this site.
I ran it via sh HPasm-rpm2deb-sarge.sh, and it downloads some stuff and then says:

Code:
hpasm-7.4.0.tgz generated

You can install those packages with:

  # dpkg -i hpasm-7.4.0-56_i386.deb

Make sure you have all the dependencies installed on your system:

  # apt-get install snmpd tcl8.3

And reboot your server after installation.  This mostly helps,
if you feel something weird going on :)

Questions?

You can reach us at http://debian.catsanddogs.com

HAVE FUN!

But I have no hpasm-7.4.0-56_i386.deb created, and it's not inside of the hpasm-7.4.0.tgz either, so how do I install this thing?  Huh

Thanks!
