Install woody on a Proliant ML350
« on: April 04, 2005, 10:11:22 pm »

Well, you need to be able to access your disks when installing Woody, look at the following url's:

Updated mini-iso so you're able to access your disks and install woody:
http://people.debian.org/~taggart/proliant/
http://people.debian.org/~taggart/boot-floppies/

A somewhat 'long' version of how you should do it:
http://www.riedmann.it/linux/debian3smartarray.htm

How to get hpasm module on HP Proliant?
http://lists.debian.org/debian-isp/2004/08/msg00178.html

Feedback or more links/how-to's welcome!

It should be noted that you will need a 2.4.x version of the kernel.  I ran into problems trying to install on 2.2.x until I upgraded.

Very correct! At least 2.4 is required, I have used 2.6 for some servers, also seems to work good.
